PERKIOMEN TOWNSHIP is looking for Township Residents to volunteer to help with a newly created Park and Recreation Board.  This is a seven member board.  Presently there are two vacancies that the Board of Supervisors is looking to fill.  The Board is looking for individuals that are interested in establishing recreational activities and programs in the Township.  In addition, the Park and Recreation Board is to act as Perkiomen Township’s Shade Tree Commission.  Knowledge of the proper planting and care of trees and shrubs would be helpful.  The meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month.  All letters of interest should be sent to Perkiomen Township, 1 Trappe Road, Collegeville, PA 19426 c/o Cecile Daniel.
